G-GUIDE EPG for Smartphones-New Versionnow on KDDI IS05 Model
Interactive Program Guide, which provides a TV EPG appli -G-GUIDE Bangumihyo- for Android 2.2 mobile phones, will have a new version pre-installed on KDDI's IS05 units (Sharp units) beginning on March 10.
The new version is designed for optimum use on smart phones and in place of the previous version only showing one broadcaster at a time, the new version will show multiple broadcasters, just like in the newspaper. In addition to the terrestrial channels, BS digital are also offered. In addition to keyword and genre features, one-seg viewing and recording are also offered.
IPG, through G-GUIDE Bangumihyou encourages changes in TV viewing environments, expansion of broadcast to the internet arena and provides an environment to for all the TV related data you need to expand TV related features. We continue to seek to answer the needs of viewers and offer netter services and to contribute to the expansion of TV viewing.
G-GUIDE Bangumihyo is a G-GUIDE Mobile for mobile phone TV EPG appli. G-GUIDE products are deployed and promoted in Japan by Rovi and IPG.
